My overall experience was good and successful. I submitted my request/purchased an express same day download on a Friday afternoon and ultimately was sent the email that I could download my DD214 on Monday evening at 8:42PM. I did not hear much in between to let me know what was going on, just an email stating the process had started and another stating that it had been assigned to a researcher. After several emails from me to touchstone, I finally was sent my paperwork. Again, successful and quick, but a little nerve racking, wondering if there was a problem or if it is supposed to take 3 1/2 days (not work days, but actual days) to get a same day download.
At the end of the day, I am happy with the service.
[Our processing day closes at 10 am ET, and only business days - days the records facilities are open, are counted. So a submission om a Friday afternoon would not be submitted until Monday.]
